The innovative Garmin 270 is ready to use right out of the box without any complicated set-up steps to complete and is preloaded with City Navigator NT Street Maps for both North America, including Canada and Puerto Rico, as well as Europe.

The Nuvi 270 features an antiglare, 3.5 inch touchscreen display with a 320 x 240 pixel screen resolution that offers plenty of crisp, realistic details that are readable even in the sun because of the built-in white backlight that helps to absorb excess light and glare. And, because of its slim design, the 270 is completely portable and fits safely in the smallest of purses or handbags.

Included with the purchase of the Garmin 270 is the Garmin set up and go guide, the vehicle power cable and vehicle suction cup mount, as well as the dashboard disc. The rechargeable lithium ion battery housed within the device will run for up to five hours when fully charged and not connected to a power source depending on the type of usage, making it convenient to use whether you're inside or out of the car. Also not included is a USB cable for connecting to your home computer to download additional data instead of using the SD card. This Nuvi travel assistant is not compatible with computers running the operating systems Windows 95, 98, or Windows Millennium.
